Hi
Does anyone know how I can check the amount of data that I've downloaded each month? I want to make sure I don't go over my limit.

hi, i am new to this fourm thingy and don't know how it works, but i have a question do you change profile setting like to "fastpath", i am already with primus saver broadband and i them to be getting lower speeds (upload and download) than the speed that i should be getting, that why i am asking for profile change (thats what most other providers do)
i have contacted customer support on the phone, they told me to send 3 pictures to their email, so i send it sunday morning and i have got no response or improvement in my internet speed.
i use interent a lot for gaming and youtube, and if you do profile setting change, could you please change to fastpath 9db, if there something i need to add/give just respond to me please, my internet speed and latency is killing me!

Ignoring the month error (it's September, not October), that's astonishing in view of Olimack's previous posts in this thread.

Ok, thanks for the prompt answer. By the way I am not working for any competitor. Just trying to find out some information before I regret signing up to 18months contract.

Looks like my previous thread was deleted for not being able to answer by the moderator, how nice! Anyway after researching the terms and conditions I found the answers. Now I want one answer which is not displayed on terms and conditions before I make my decision. The question is when are you going to get british people to answer the customer support line instead of divirting the calls to India? I heard primus support line is coming to Burnley or something like that. If you do some research on Google, you will find majority are not happy the way the Indian support centre is handling the calls and it takes roughly 15 -30 minutes to answer a call as I have tried. Yet british people answering the sales line, how sweet!

Your questions were deemed to be driven by a competitor. If not I am sorry - please e-mail marketing@newcalltelecom.co.uk and we will be happy to address your issues.

The call centre in Burnley will be open at the begining of Sept.

I have BT connection without Broad Band. Now I want Broad Band with it. Please inform me charges and process of up gradation.

Hi - unfortunately, our broadband only offers are not that competitive at the moment, we are working on improving them, so you may be better looking for other providers for broadband alone. However if you were to take a phone line and broadband from us we could offer £2.99 broadband + £12.79 line rental http://www.primussaver.co.uk/bundles.html

Have you thought about a VoIP line? If your Broadband speed is fast enough you could get a new number without a new line installation.

As far as I can work out it's only BT that will offer 'free' line installs if you take phone and broadband.

The problem is that we have to pay a BT engineer to go and install the line, & there is very little money to be made from broadband services. So we could produce a package like the BT offer where we raise the cost of the Broadband and Line rental to cover the cost of the new line installation & there for offer it for 'free'.

I think the cost of the new line + monthly cost of the service, Primus Svaer would still be cheaper than BT.

Hello,

I tweeted about any deals for NEW line installs and was pointed at http://www.primussaver.co.uk/New-line-installations.aspx to see how I can get a new line for Free, but I see no way to have a new line provisioned for free. I can only see way's to transfer or have a line activated, I need a new line provisioning and would be after broadband being on the line also.

Other than BT who will give me a free new line I cannot find anyone else who would give this (cheapest I have found for a new line for £49.95). We have a line already with another telco but want a second line and broadband connection.

Looking forward to what you can propose for us I am interested in the Primus Max package.

Auto Renewing Contract?

Hi Paul,

Hi, I joined Primus last year on Home Phone Saver (free eve/w-end calls + line rental) at £8.99 per month via Homephonechoices on a 12 month contract. My contract is due to end on 29th June 2011. I seem to remember the contract is auto renewing, so if I do nothing before the contract ends next month, I will enter into a new 12 month contract- please could someone confirm this.
Yes

Also, is it possible to change to a rolling one month contract after the initial 12 months have expired?

No

Will the price remain the same even if I enter into a new contract as I note line rental only is now £6.79 per month via homephonechoices which could be cheaper for me (also Home Phone Saver is £1 per month cheaper than i am currently paying).

Yes the price would stay the same but you can change to the £7.99 Saver offer or the £6.79 line rental saver deal at the end of your first 12 months. Just call into customer services to organise this.

Depending on the answers to the above, I may consider moving my line rental back to BT. If I was to do this, do I need to give Primus any notice that I am moving back to BT?

There is no need contact Primus to give notice. As you are in an autorenewal contract please ensure that the date you move to the new supplier is within a couple of weeks of the renewal date. A final bill will be automatically generated.

Hope that answers your questions

Hi Paul,

I'm just checking with the correct teams and will get back to you shortly.

Thanks,
