Installing a phone line with Primus Saver for FREE
If your house doesn't have a phone line then we can install one for you.
Primus Saver will install a new line in your property for free when you sign up to a phone & broadband package. We can book a line installation appointment and an engineer will visit your home on a date that is convenient to you. See full package details

A £59 charge applies on new line installations where a home phone only package is selected without broadband. If you are joining from Virgin Media then we can also install a new line for free, but you will lose your existing phone number.

Connecting a phone line with Primus Saver is FREE*
If you have recently moved house and found that the phone line in your new home isn't working then you can call Primus to have it reconnected. If the wiring, socket and routing from the exchange to your property are intact then we may be able to reactivate your line for free, providing that you sign up to one of our award winning home phone packages.

Transferring your existing phone number to a new property with Primus Saver is FREE
If you are moving to another property that is in the same telephone exchange area as your current property then Primus may be able to arrange for you to take your phone number with you. This is a free service if you sign up to one of our award winning phone packages and can be arranged with our advisors.

We would ask that you contact us at least 14 days in advance of your prospective move so that we can make arrangements for this to happen. We will contact your existing supplier and handle the line transfer to the new property and your phone services to Primus.

*If the wiring, socket and routing from the exchange to your property are not intact then an engineer may be required to visit and the reactivation of your line may be chargeable

In the event that you are not at your property to allow the engineer to gain access on the day of your agreed engineer appointment you will still be charged, unless the appointment was part of a promotion (i.e. free line installation) in which case only the first appointment is available at the discounted rate. Only one new line installation engineer visit per account will be available at the discounted rate. Any subsequent visits required by the engineer will be charged at the standard engineer rate of £59 per visit.
