A Cambridge woman has been angered after her home phone provider cut off her landline services.
Janet Rosie operates her business South Cambridge Physiotherapy from her home in Church Road, Hauxton, but has been unable to use her house phone since December 20th, reports Cambridge News.
Ms Rosie contacted her provider TalkTalk but after temporarily regaining her home phone services, they were cut off again.
She told the news provider: "I was told there was no way TalkTalk or any company would be able to access the number I have had for the business for the past 16 years.
"We will now be connected to a new number which could take up to two weeks."
Recently, communications problems impacted the Guildford area, where a number of homes were reconnected with incorrect home phone numbers.
The problem was a consequence of a BT cable theft in Wanborough Hill, with telephone access unavailable in areas such as Normandy and Shelford.
